| ATTRACTIONS | Double bogie, drop centre tram Number 29, which was the last one of 3 of the type built to serve Launceston. Tram Number 8 restored to its 1913 condition. Tram Number 23 containing an exhibition about what happened to Launceston's tram fleet after the closure of the Launceston network in 1952. An exhibition of the individual trams, entitled 29 Stories, and a display about the tramway workers. |

| MUSEUM LOCATION | Ten minutes walk from Brisbane Street Mall in the centre of Launceston. Proceed East along Brisbane Street or Cameron Street and turn left into Tamar Street. Proceed across Victoria Bridge and turn right at the roundabout into the Inveresk Precinct. There is a large circular car park available. Follow the straight pedestrian walkway just past the Blue Cafe Bar - Restaurant where you will see the Launceston Tramway Museum on the left. The Inveresk Precinct at the city end of Invermay Road, also houses Launceston's Queen Victoria Museum at the old Railway Workshops and The University Of Tasmania, Arts Campus. |
